Hi, I am Dr. Amy Green. I was born and raised in Mid-Missouri. I am considered a Callawegian, as I was raised in Fulton until the age of three. I grew up primarily in Columbia, Missouri. Even at a young age, I knew that I wanted a career in health care. I was unsure however which branch: medicine, chiropractic or research. Therefore, after graduating with honors from Hickman High School, I started the pre-med program at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. It took being hospitalized for a life-threatening allergic reaction to sulfa drugs to help me decide to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. I wanted to provide patients non-drug solutions to their health concerns. After graduating with a BS in Biology from TCU, I attended Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri. There I received both my Doctorate in Chiropractic and another BS in Human Biology. I completed my clinical internship at Logan Health Center’s St. Peters Clinic and Biofreeze Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center. There I learned cutting-edge techniques to maximize patient health through back, neck and extremity adjustments for a better life. Most recently, I changed my last name from Lightner to Green as I am now married to my loving husband, William Green Jr.
“I appreciate Dr. Lightner’s services. She is there when I need her as her office hours are great and her prices are also good. Her gentle hands seem to go right to the problem spot and adjust things easily. She is very knowledgeable of health and medical things and gives helpful information. She certainly has helped me.”
